Nine months in a womb
Surrounded by living water
Protecting her and nurturing her
Guiding her into a new world
Years later she takes her first rejection
With it comes no pain
With it comes no tears
For she is too young too understand the love lost
When she knows not what love is
She is a motherless child
Nature brought her here
Nurture guided her through
Was it something she did? Was she not good enough?

Honour not given to where it was due
