Wow 2010!

Wow we are in 2010! Now lets see how many New Year resolutions are going to be written, re-drafted and broken within three weeks.

I mean seriously how many people have actually kept their resolutions they made at the beginning of the New Year? I for one have never kept any of them and alas as I get younger (I use Olay) I can’t even be bothered to write them. Call me negative, or pessimistic but that’s just how it is.

So with that said I have decided that this year I am going to turn over a new leaf (hopefully I wont break this) and not worry about writing a list of all my wants, things I am going to start, give up etc but to write a list of things I will do for others.

So here are my twelve things to do for others for 2010.

January – Dedicate myself to a Charity in Nigeria

February – Buy a Valentine present for someone – Just to remind them of Gods love

March – Work on a project within the community

April – Buy Easter eggs and donate to a charity for kids

May – Volunteer this month to work in a women’s refuge

June – Be a mentor for young people

July – Feed or witness to the homeless

August – Missionary work in Romania or Jamaica

September – Teach at woman’s monthly meeting

October – Join an after school reading programme

November – Become a school governess

December – Think about all the things God willing I will do the following year

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
